Some people are only interested in hearing the Law of God, they aren't interested in knowing God.
God is interested in love, true love. Real relationship. With people who care about who He is.

God wants you to live a passionate life. He wants you to sense the passion that He put within you by His nature. Here’s the question today: Are you passionate about your life? If not, why? Passion will keep you on the right path.

What will it take for you to finally be happy where you are? For you to realize you are enough. You have enough. And you will always have enough.
Happiness comes when you shift your thinking.
Happiness doesn’t come from the right man or woman. The right children. The right amount of money. Great health. I know that great hair can help, but true happiness comes from THE RIGHT GOD.

So many people have zero understanding that God isn’t trying to build an Empire in the Galaxy. He isn’t trying to find a way to be the most powerful entity in the universe—He already is. God is building a home, and you are invited.

God’s dream was and is to have people who find out what He likes and they pursue it. God wants His people to give to Him, and do things He likes—because you want to. He doesn't want you to show empty-handed.
Staying together takes people bringing their best to the table every day, every week, every year. Children helping clean around the house. To our kids, I say you may not have money to help pay the bills, but you certainly have two hands to clean up. Appear full-handed.

I need to be gracious to others, to forgive others who've hurt me because God has been gracious to me. Genuine forgiveness is responding to evil with good. Luke 6:27 "Do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you and pray for those who mistreat you."

Jesus’ last words on the cross were “It is finished.” God planned that moment when He created darkness and light—when He said, “IT IS GOOD,” THAT WAS “IT!” From the beginning, God was after real relationships. God created humans for the purpose of having a mutual relationship of love with someone. People who could choose to love Him. People who could choose to talk to Him. People who could choose to avoid things that would break a relationship with Him. God wanted real relationships. Not robots. Not forced obedience. But true love.

When Jesus entered Jerusalem Triumphantly, He did so riding a small donkey--dragging His feet. This wasn’t an accident. This was a decision. Jesus wasn’t looking for Dictator Power in this world, He was and is looking for a relationship with people. He proved it that day.
If your vision of a successful home, marriage and family is everyone doing everything your way, you are going to fail. In this time while you are quarantined at home, take time to fix things for others. Help your kid with their car, or fix their computer. Repair that door lock that won’t give them privacy. Detail your wife’s car. Do the things that matter to them.
Instead of riding in to be their Dictator, drag your feet, ride in to be the answer to their problem.

Cabin Fever is starting to set in for many. And even if you don’t have cabin fever, these are some important things for you to pay attention to while growing and developing a family and personal relationships in your life.

The challenge today:

 

1. Set and Communicate Your Boundaries.
2. Protect the Boundaries of Others.
3. Remove unnecessary boundaries for others to be closer to you.

In this time of change, it’s time to break up your un-plowed ground and sow seed there, not among the thorns.

Maybe when life starts going back to normal—you do things different.

Instead of letting things get in the way of you having a strong connection with God and His church family, make Him your priority.
