Every moment of your life, God is trying to prepare you for the future you. God never wastes a pain. He never wastes a lesson. He is always stretching, growing, and challenging you.
What if Joseph had given up? Millions of people were counting on him to lead them through a severe famine. What if?
What if you give up? What if you are being prepared for a purpose beyond what you can even comprehend?

Today is a day that you begin to believe in who God really is.
God can be trusted, no matter what you are facing. No matter what you are going through, begin to believe He is God your deliverer.
What you believe about God while you are in trouble matters. Do you trust Him?

Today, God is not calling you to just receive His Blessing.
God is not calling you to just be His slave for the rest of your life.
God IS calling you to come into a RELATIONSHIP with Him. To KNOW Him.

When we just do our lives God’s way, God is able to bless us abundantly. The living God is a good God. If the people of planet earth would obey Him, there would be no starvation, no murder, no rape, no poverty, no homelessness, no law-suits—just sound judgment. Our pain in life would be minimized to only accidents. Imagine what it would be like if everyone obeyed God. We have a God that if we obey Him 100%, we would be blessed beyond measure.

You are free to be blessed by God. Too often, when things go wrong we think, "God, where’s your blessing? You bless everyone but me…. When am I going to catch a break? When will I see your favor?" The truth is, God’s Kingdom is a Kingdom where you are FREE TO BE BLESSED! You can embrace all that God has for you for this life and the one to come.

In the Bible, wells are symbolic of life, prosperity and abundance. All throughout Scripture, we read that WATER is used figuratively as God, the Holy Spirit. And just as the physical wells can be filled up with earth, the dirt, so can our spiritual wells be filled up with the flesh. The enemy of your soul wants to close up your well with the problems, failures, struggles, injustice, issues, pain, addictions, financial problems, all the things that come against you. He wants to stop the water of life from flowing through you. Don't let him. If you are thirsty, start digging a well. Start praying. Let God begin flowing in you.

What if you decided that God’s blessing on your life is more profitable than people paying you for the pain in your past? You need to know, that the person who will owe you the most in your future will be you. What you are doing to not forgive, to hold on to the past, to stay stuck where you are is a far greater offense than anything anyone ever did to you.

In a time of trouble, when you laugh, it means you have looked at your trouble and have found something to grab onto that isn’t bad. In other words, laughter can be a step of faith.
We lose our laughter when it seems the wicked are winning. When it seems they always get what they want. It seems like there isn’t any justice. But look what King David wrote: “But the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he sees that his day is coming” (Ps. 37:13).
God laughs at the idea that you won’t make it.
God laughs at the idea that you are defeated.
God laughs at the mere thought that evil will win against you.

God is the Good Father. He is never going to sign off on bad in our lives. In our series, The God of the Old Testament, it’s important for us to understand that this is Who He is.
