Independence Day 2019- Our Lives, Our Fortunes, Our Sacred Honor 7/7/19

It’s easy to take the freedom the Signers gave us in their rebellion for granted. But as any veteran or active duty military personnel will tell you, we have a responsibility to live up to those who have sacrificed for us. Similarly, what Jesus did on the cross isn’t an excuse to live freely. It is a responsibility to live up to His sacrifice.

Timing is Crucial- The God of the Old Testament- 6/30/2019

As Christians, we have the option to believe that life happening is more than bad luck. Instead of just believing it is bad luck, we can reroute our thinking to our faith. Instead of just getting angry and let distractions in life ruin our day, we can decide that God may be actively involved in getting me where He wants me, when He wants me to be there.

Getting Unstuck- The God of the Old Testament- 6/23/2019

It’s easy for us to find ourselves stuck in life. A time in life where it seems that no matter how hard we try, we just can’t seem to make any progress. God wants you to be encouraged today that your day of getting UNSTUCK  is coming. Your day of deliverance is just around the corner. The more you want to give up, the closer you are to seeing breakthrough.

When Jesus was here He was continually saying, “You have heard it was said…but I say to you….” He was teaching them theology- "Jesusology." Beyond that, He spent a lot of time debating and publicly correcting the false teachings of the Jewish Scribes and Pharisees. He corrected their wrong interpretations and often He warned His disciples and the crowds He was teaching to beware of the dangers of false teachers.
