People try to put love as the foundation of their life.  And we get sorely disappointed every time.
In fact, when you put love as the foundation to build your life on, it isn’t love at all. It has the APPEARANCE OF LOVE, but it isn’t.
It takes work to get to true love. Love isn’t the foundation, it’s the destination.
